RULER coaching sessions are available at no extra cost to RULER Implementation Teams in schools with an active RULER Training Package or RULER Subscription. A RULER coach will be available via Zoom to answer your implementation questions. Use the information below to sign up for a session and join at any time within the session time frame to discuss your RULER implementation needs.

Why should we attend RULER coaching sessions?

  • RULER coaching helps implementation teams navigate multiple phases of bringing RULER to staff, students, and families.
  • By meeting with a RULER coach, your team can maximize your implementation timeline by reviewing plans for staff development, tracking progress toward school goals, getting all your RULER implementation questions answered, and more.
  • RULER coaches from the Yale Center for Emotional Intelligence have been working with schools with diverse needs across the US and internationally. Our goal is to provide the support each school requires to flourish.

How do RULER coaching sessions work?

  • Each RULER coaching session is one hour, but teams are not obligated to stay for the entire duration. Feel free to join and leave the session as needed.
  • Use the sign-up link below to select a date/time that works best for your team. One member of your RULER Implementation Team can schedule up to four other members of your team to join.
  • If you need to change your RULER coaching session date or time, please cancel your current registration and register for a new session.
  • Virtual coaching sessions are conducted via Zoom. A Zoom link will be provided in a confirmation email after you sign up with the option to create a calendar invitation.
  • You will be asked during session registration to submit questions or topics to discuss. RULER coaches will also help determine essential implementation topics.
  • RULER Implementation Teams from more than one school may join a single RULER coaching session. Sessions will have a maximum of 15 participants.
  • Please have ready at registration the names and emails of each participant planning to attend the coaching, as well as any questions or topics you would like to discuss.
  • Please consider the following prior to attending a coaching session:
    • Expansion of RULER Implementation Teams to ensure grade-level or subject-area representation
    • Goals for RULER implementation
    • Anticipated timeline for RULER implementation for staff, students, and families
    • Planning and staff meeting time available for RULER
